Viking is a pink-papered, black Trakehner colt by Chabrol, out of a graded, pink-papered mare,Singing Valienna (out of PM Holme Park Vincenca). He was bred by Mrs Pauline Hills in Ross on Wye.

We bought Viking in April 2010, as a yearling and we are currently preparing him for grading/licensing as a stallion for use on some of our own warmblood mares.

He has three exceptional paces, with a great over-track in walk, a powerful elevated trot and a flowing, ground-covering canter.

Viking's pedigree is outstanding, the premium stallion Wie Ibikus is duplicated in the fourth generation of his pedigree. Wie Ibikus was responsible for siring many top level dressage horses including the international Grand Prix dressage horse Va Tout - who himself is a graded stallion.

Viking loves racing around the field for fun but has a very laid-back attitude to life in general!

Chabrol, Viking's sire, stands at the Singing Stud in Herefordshire. We have been to meet Chabrol and he is an incredibly kind and friendly stallion - we even took our youngest child, Marigold (who was 8 months old at the time!) into his box to stroke him.
